That is not true plc_pain.

As long as you show an effort and say what you have done and give details, then just about everyone will give you the help you need or point you in the right direction.

Just asking everyone here to just give you the answers without showing any effort, yes it can be a pain for you and other students.

Buck up and show some effort. Your in school, not us(some are and they know how to show the effort).

Hey Martin, another student, I see...

plc_pain:

Do search here for traffic light programs, there are several. Actually TOO many. Take them to your instructor. Then impress him with the fact that PC's are NOT used for traffic lights.

Then do the same with washing machine programs.

In fact, search "student", and you'll get lots of programs.

I'm waiting for someone to start posting "BOGUS" programs for students. It is not like the instructor would notice the difference in most cases.

Well, off to the electronicss shop to get some resident smoke, flyback varistors, and a couple of flux caps.get s

plc_pain,

I don't know what other on-line forums you frequent, but let's just suppose that you are an excellent chess player. As much as you enjoy playing chess, you also enjoy sharing your knowledge of the game with others and teaching the game to newcomers.

Now let's further suppose that someone signs up on your favorite online chess forum site and this is his first post:

"I'm new to chess and am badly stuck. Could someone please direct me to a better site than this about chess?"

"PS: I think chess is a big waste of time."

What sort of response do you think that person would get? I don't think you meant your question to sound like that, but it did.

Johnny Rotten, it is a famous saying that if you have a will you have a way, but I think that if you have a will you have a win. I want to learn about plcs that is why I am here. plc_pain will always be here.

plc pain---

You've been here 4 times already, and see how much you've learned!

Do you know what it is you don't know? Where are you "stuck badly"?
