I am having a difficulty with a Panelview Plus 6 working in conjunction with a Compactlogix L35E.
Between the two is shared PLC clock using the Wallclock function.
Periodically it appears that the wallclock is going to factory default, 1998 etc. etc.
As far as can be determined no other data is lost, i.e. program and setpoints are maintained.
Rev is 18, no compact flash.
Am at a loss as to what cause can be as it only seems to be the RTC that is affected !!! It seems unlikely to be the operators as it always 1998 and the chances of them selecting this year by coincidence are pretty slim.
Any thoughts? I have requested the battery be changed but think this is unlikely.
