Panelview550 communication

Hi guys. Just want to seek for some suggestion, I am having problem in communicating panelview 550 to my laptop so that I can upload the HMI program., My panelview is 2711-K5A5 and i am using cable 1747 uic, i used rslinx driver RS-232 DF1 also i tried using DH 485 uic driver. but still I cant see the panelview.

What cable are you using to connect the UIC to your HMI's com port?

It should be a 2711-NC13 ( straight thru serial cable)

Any straight thru will do.

Pin 2 to 2
Pin 3 to 3
Pin 5 to 5

Also check the comm port device manager assigns to the UIC in order to setup RSLinx correctly. See pdf
