PLC and brandless GSM Modem

I have a task where I need to send SMS with system problems alert through PLC. I think PLC is not matter. Let's say it have RS2323 and 485 on board. modem is something like this.

I have already енув to get nahd on documentation but all they have is technical specification.

how could I send AT commands to modem like this if I do not have manual for that? Is that sort of standard communication? What keywords to use for googling?

You really need the specific AT commands for the modem you're planning on using. If they cant supply this then look for a product that does have it.

It supports standard AT commands. It is not that I do not know AT commands, it is I do not know how to send them. There should be some register number or address I think. How do I get it without documentation.

Download a copy of a Wavecom modem manual. I am sure the modem of the photo is a Chinese clone from Wavecom. I was forced to use one once. It worked for a month and then failed. Pure waste of time.

This is what scares me, if I take one I wont be able to communicate with it.

Then dont buy the cheap China **** and buy a real modem from a reputable manufacturer , pretty simple.
