PLC simulator that works with KepServerEx

I am trying to find PLC simulation software that will connect with KepServerEx, in order to learn and test an OPC UA solution.

My Siemens trial licence has expired.

Currently I am trying Do-More Designer, but can't find any instructions for interfacing with KepServerEx, and haven't had any luck with winging it.

Anyone know of any other (free) stack I could use for this purpose?

Try Beckhoff with TwinCAT 3.

You only need to download and install the XAE. That will install the engineering and the runtime onto your laptop or PC.
