proficy machine edition 9.8

I am trying to download version 9.8 of G.E.'s proficy machine edition, does anyone have a link to a download site?

Any reason you want that particular version and not the latest from Emerson?

When GE still owned the product line you needed to be in a support contract to have access to the full version download. I doubt if Emerson has changed the policy.

I am going to be troubleshooting a offshore program and I was told that is the version they are using, I do not know if its backwards compatible or not so in the interest of making this as simple as possible I would like to have that version if possible.

Your best bet will be to talk to a distributor. They should be able to set you up. It might not be simple. Emerson changed the name of the software to PAC Machine Edition which makes me wonder if Emerson has access to all the GE versions. However, many of the distributors from the GE days were retained by Emerson, so one of them might be able to help. Try a Gexpro (formerly GE Supply) office.

It appears on the Emerson site you can download back versions also.

This is the link for the version Proficy Machine Edition 9.7 but you are looking for 9.8 - this is available as direct download from emerson website
I just searched proficy machine edition and got this link but 9.8 link is not available
Programs saved with a higher version can not be opened in a lower version I have that when using 9.5 and 9.7 - Program saved from 9.7 when opened with 9.5 wont open
