Is the communication cable for this PanelView a straight through 9 pin cable? It uses DH-485.

The manual doesn't say if it is or not.

Yes, the cable from the PanelView's DH-485 (RS-232) port to a PLC or a PC should be a "straight through" cable.

PanelView Standard terminals have a "DCE" type port, so you connect them straight through to any device with a "DTE" type port, which includes SLC-5/0x controllers, MicroLogix controllers, ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers, and PC serial ports.
