PV550 to 1761-NET-AIC

I have a panelview 550(2711 k5a5) connected with a 2711-NC21 cable to a 1761-NET-AIC, ML1500 LRP connected with a 1761-cbl-hm02 cable to a 1761-NET-AIC.

I can see the Micrologix in RSlinx but I can't see the Panveiw...The node for my computer is 00, ML is 01 and the Panview is 02.

Everthing is set up for 19.2k, different node numbers.

Am I missing something regarding the Panveiw 550? or DH 485?

The communication setup in the 550 only lets u configure the max node(31), node(2) and the baud(19.2k).

Don't really have alot of options when it comes to trouble shootin. I have have me network terminated at either end and the grounded on one side.

You can connect computer to NET-AIC and view both ML1500 and panel view. Did you try doing that???

Thats what I am doing....I have my computer connected to the DB9 the ML1500 connected the 8mini the two AIC connected together and the panelview 550 connected to the 8mini on the other AIC...

I think the problem might be the NC21 cable, it is designed for the PV300. I think you need the NC13 for your PV. See attached

Correction on my previous post, about the NC21 and NC13 cables see attached. Sorry if I misled you but I'm also confused now.

The panelview 550 is running 485 through it's re 232 port.

I know this because I connected directly to the MicroLogi 1500 and reconfigured it's port for DH 485, and it established comm.

That is fine, but i wasn't planning on directly connecting the two. I need to go through a 1761-NET-AIC.

I am trying to figure out where I went wrong....I can find lots of documents showing a Panelview 550 RS 232(DH 485) connected to a NET-AIC.

Does anyone know what I have to do to get this to work? Reconfigure the port for DF1?????

Alright, I am online.....The 2711 NC21 is the right cable series A revision B.

Rookie DH 485 misktake.....I was using the DF1 driver.

I switched it to the PIC driver and I configured the comm port on the PLC to DH 485 and I can see both in RSLinx...
