Read Data from Omron CP2E from Mitsubishi RJ71EN71 Ethernet Module with R04CPU

Hi Guys,

I am trying to read data from Omron CP2E CPU from my Mitsubishi RJ71EN71 with Simple CPU Communication Function.

Suppose it was using FINS UDP as per written in the manual. But I couldnt get it to work. If anyone have successfully tried it before, please kindly advise.

Configuration
Omron PLC CP2E
192.168.1.50
Port: 9600

PC
192.168.1.150

R04CPU
192.168.0.43

RJ71EN71
Port 1: 192.168.1.44
Port 2: 192.168.2.45

D0-D100

If you have OPC servers for Omron and Mitsubishi, you can try with OPCExpert from: https://opcti.com/default.aspx

I don't know Omron PLC. Do you have an error message on then RJ71EN71 that helps?
It could be the host port you are using. Have you ever tried another one?
The Firmware of the module must be at least v35 to support this communication with Omron. v35 is quite old. I don't think that's the problem

I wish you much success.
