I am doing an upgrade to a PLC rack and I have an IC693CMM302 and IC693CMM311
What is your advice concerning upgrading these modules?
What else is on the Genius network with the CMM302? What is the serial device connected to the CMM311? Need those answers to recommend the best path forward.
Genius is obsolete. Your best bet is to use a different network. Serial communications is no longer in favor. Check the hardware configuration to find out what serial protocol is in use. If it is SNPX you will need to modify whatever is on the other end of the cable to the CMM311. The Rx3i does not support SNPX (or did not the last time I checked).
