How to.. does anyone have an example project how to use recipes.. I cant find support or help documents on this anywhere.. I´ve also searched the forum but nothing helps there either..

Check the Citect example project. They use the Device functions to manipulate a dbf file. Seacrh Citect help for these Device functions. DevOpen(), DevFind(), DevAppend().
