Hi. I need help troubleshooting time sync. My setup is redundant L72 Controllogix with 2 processor racks and 1 RIO rack with 1756HP-TIME module in slot 10. I followed Rockwell Automation Publication IA-AT003B-EN-P page 111 to setup time sync.
The problem I'm having is the processor not time syncing to the grandmaster clock 1756HP-Time module. The Time module is ok and is getting time values from the NTP server. The processor EN2TR sees the 1756HP-TIME module as the grandmaster clock. I have checked the configs and statuses and the only thing that seems off to me is the processor EN2TR time sync backplane state is slave and ethernet state is master. I think the master/slave status should be the opposite where ethernet state is slave and backplane state is master. See the attachment for the screenshot of the processor rack en2tr time sync tab.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
