Lol. One a serious side.Profibus is a network protocol . Just like controlnet ethernet, DH+, Modbus etcc. Node is nothing but a station. All nodes combine to form a network. I hope that is clear.

In terms modern people would understand:

Profibus is similar to Ethernet.
Nodes is similar to PC's/Laptops/Printers/etc.

Similar does not mean equal to.
It's just......well similar.
