Replacing a PowerFlex 753 FW 9.0 with FW 14.0 RS Logix 5000 Tree Properties

So Rockwell support is evidently on an extended holiday. When I try and download the AOP it gives an error 404 page not found, and phone support is out of the office. Anyone know an alternate site to get the AOP I need?

Hi! I've same problem . We need to replace a Powerflex 753. It arrived with the firmware 14.004. But i have a PC with Windows XP and Rslogix 5000 v19 to do the work. I can't upgrade the SO and to install the new AOP i need Windows 7 at least.


So i'm trying to downgrade the firmware. The old Powerflex used 7.001, the 20-COMM-E 4.0001, the HMI 20-HIM-x6 1.005.


The AOP installed, support 1.1, 5.1, 6.1,7.1,8.1,9.1 not the 9.002.


I tried to download the firmware, but the versions .1 are unsigned and i can't download the from the Rockwell website. ¿Any idea? Thanks!

Hi. I've talk with the client, and probably we will update the software to Windows 7/10 to upgrade the AOP. I noted that there are some troubles, but it's possible to install versions 13, 16 19 (http://www.plctalk.net/qanda/showthread.php?t=131144)



Any idea if can I downgrade the firmware of this PowerFlex to any compatible version? The rockwell web, only show me the .2 version available to download...
