I have a Rs 485 On my PLC (B & R). I have to communicate it to a HMI having a serial port through a Converter . It was running since last 5 years .But nOw commu nication is Fail. HOw can I check RS 485 port and Converter.

That’s going to depend on the RS485 converter. Contact the manufacture and see if they have a diagnostics process
