Download manual 1747-rm001 from www.ab.com, look for math instructions (Chap 4), there you will find the answer.

If you are using a 5/03, 5/04, 5/05, or any Micrologix processor I strongly recommend you use the SCP instruction instead of the SCL instruction. You can find details on how to use the instructions in the manual mentioned in the previous post that you can get at http://www.rockwellautomation.com/literature/literature.html
