RS Logix BackUp silly question

Is there a way to reset the count on the RS Logix BackUp??

XXXXX PROGRAM IN PROGRESS_BAK445.RSS
XXXXX PROGRAM IN PROGRESS_BAK446.RSS
XXXXX PROGRAM IN PROGRESS_BAK447.RSS

Pretty sure if you delete the other backups it will reset the count.

Rename it with the name and date ?

I think you can change the number of backups it does ,

Save As then give it a new name. It will start the numbering over.

The best practice i have found is to go online with the plc, and upload the program and save.
i then save the program with the name and the current date.
that saves you heartache if you get confused or make a big oops in the logic.
when that happens, just reload the program you saved earlier.

That's my general process too.
