RsLogix 5000 corrupt?

Why is my RSlogix 5000 showing only one tag numerous times (version 15) or not showing any tags (version 16)? I'm running windows 10 and have had no problems for about 6 months now.


Any ideas would be appreciated, hopefully it's something stupid I forgot about.

Is this just happening with this one project file or with others as well?

They appear to be multiple instances of the module-defined Configuration tags for a Flex I/O 1794-IR8 RTD Input Module?

Although we cannot see your full I/O Configuration list, I don't see any actual instances of this module added to the FlexBus under the 1794-ACN adapter?

This is usually either a glitch in the software or corruption of the I/O Configuration.

I would start by trying to reset the software...

Close the software completely (all instances of RSLogix 5000) and hold the "Ctrl + Shift" keys while restarting RSLogix 5000, and then reopen your project file?...

Thanks Geo, Wish I would have read your answer sooner to see if that works. If I see that again I'll definitely try it. It was doing that to all version 15 and 16 files? Version 13 worked ok though.


I uninstalled version 16 and reinstalled it with same results.


What finally fixed it was I clicked on the show button and picked "can be forced" from the drop down menu. This showed me just a few tags. Then I clicked on name and the tag names came in. I click on show and selected all and they were there??
