RSLogix 5000 Exporting Tags to .L5K

Hello,

I have done this before but cant remember how to do it.
I want to export my tags to a .L5K file but when I select export all the
export options i get are (.CSV & .TXT)

File --> Save as. Then use the file type dropdown.

The .L5K file is for your entire project, not a portion of it. You export the entire project to a .L5K file.

You can however export just your tags to a .CSV file. To export to a .CSV or even a .TXT go to Tools then Export, then Tags and Logic comments.
