I am getting random comm loss (error code 561 i think?) anyway i looked it up and its loss of comm to 2 modules on a controlnet network. The 2 modules in question have a "the keeper at address at 04 is not valid" it is a 1756-cnb/e [7] and in control net its set to major rev 11 and minor rev 005 and the same for 03 address. They also have a module identity mismatch. I believe that is due to the fact that in studio (ver 31) its a series d revision 5.001. My question is this, will either the keeper not being valid and or the module mismatch cause random comms loss? I have checked all connections, t taps, end of line resistor, cabling. And some one has swapped out these 2 cnb modules in an effort to fix this issue. I am to be honest running out of ideas. I was planning on re-scheduling the network tomorrow, correct the mismatch between studio and the actual cards and control net, so that all are on the same page so to speak. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. i have the controlnet config manual so I will be following it tomorrow.
