I am using RSView Studio to develop an ME project. When I tried to add RSLinx (Classic) as an OPC data server and clicked on Browse I got this message: "Cannot connect to OPC enumeration service on localhost. Ensure that all OPC servers are properly installed on that machine. (error=80070422)". The odd thing is that it actually created the server even though I got the error message.
I found a technote that referenced a similiar error although the error number was different. Also it was referring to remote OPC servers when I am just setting up a local server. I never got this error when I was using RSView Studio ME. A few months ago I upgraded to RSView Studio Enterprise edition. I was wondering if this was the issue.
