I'm looking to add some low Battery Status Alarms to a set of PLCs (Mostly RSLOGIX500 based). I noticed there were two possible alarms for low battery, RTC:0/BL & S:5/11.

Is there a real difference between the two?

Welcome to the forum

The RTC is a Real Time Clock module and not on all PLC's the S:/5/11 is for the main cpu/plc and thats is the one you should use or the one I have used in the past and seamed to work fine
