So I'm still a little new to LC muting, and currently do not have a test bench.

THE SITUATION
My LC function is set to manual reset. I mute the light curtain and break it to enter the cell. I clear the LC and remove the muting.
THE QUESTION
Do I have press the assigned reset button to have the LC.O1 before removing the muting? Or will the muting prevent a fault from occurring?

Without knowing the system here is a quick answer. Yes as long as you have the manual reset you will bw forced to acknowledge the mute condition is to be cleared.
