script error on WHERE clause

Pease help to fix this error(script winccflex2008):
When search with int type, it's OK
When search with string type, it's display error.

What happens if only use single quotes for the String search? I.E. 'NAME'

this display error "Invalid object name 'TClient'

WHERE NAME = ‘“ & SmartTags(“NAME”) & “‘“
