Siemens S317-2 DP AND S414-3 PN/DP data -I/O transfering?

I have two working Step7 cpu's that control a conveyor system connected plc to plc via net Profibus. The S400 is addressed 3 and the 300 is 4. I need to send the status 1 or 0 of a input 48.1 from the S300 to the S400 and control a output 51.6. I am taking the status of a selector switch and controlling a alarm horn any help would be appreciated. Thanks Phillip

I am not sure what exactly you want to do.
But If you want to read I 48.1 from S7-300 and use it in S7-400 here is one possible variant:View attachment S7-416_s.zip. This is an example of S7-comunication via Profibus between S7-400 and S7-300. It read IW48 and write it to db1.dbw0.
It's one of the easiest way for me
