" Loop update time error on PID configuration screen
Question
Why do I get a Loop Update Time is 0 error in the PID configuration screen?
Answer
Make sure the loop update time is not zero. This needs to be a positive value that matches the period of the periodic task, or the preset of the timer regulating the PID. If the value is greater then 0, but the error still happens, there is a known issue in V16 of the software that will cause this error. This will be fixed in the next revision of V17. The work around is to open the configuration tab first, then make the needed changes in the other tabs. If the work around is not performed, then the error will appear and force the user to go to the configuration tab, at which point the correct loop update time will be displayed. This will work around the error until the next release."
