Factory Talk used to use a trending product called TrendX. GE uses a product with the same for displaying archived data in their Proficy View HMI running on a PC. Does anyone know if they are the same product?
My problem is with the proprietary database format GE uses to log data from the PLC. I have updated the version of Proficy Machine Edition several times over the years and some of the older daily log files seem to be unreadable in the newer version. I have not found anything in GE's knowledge base about repairing a corrupted database and I was hoping that if AB's TrendX is the same animal as GE's, one of the AB gurus could offer some insights or point me to a repair tool.
