TSX 27/47/67/87/107 series, LES 20-communication?

Hello!

How does the LES 20 work? I think you can mount LES 20 in a rack with power supply and I/O's, then mount a CPU + power supply in an other rack, then connect a cable between LES 20 and the CPU? It's like profibus?

Or do I have wrong?
