I Make a Main Block as Pump and Make it Function Block and set the Parameter
Run
Trip
Auto

Create a UDT with Tags(Run,Trip,Auto)

Now I have to call It.
I create a Pump 1 and Data Type is UDT.
I create a Pump 2 and Data Type is UDT.
I create a Pump 3 and Data Type is UDT.
Now I have Tags Like
Pump1.Run
Pump1.Trip
Pump1.Auto

Pump2.Run
Pump2.Trip
Pump2.Auto

Pump3.Run
Pump3.Trip
Pump3.Auto

Now I will call the FB
In functional Blocks
My Instance will be Pump1,Pump2,Pump3 and Tags are Auto,Run,Trip?

Is this is Ok.

I don't think you need the UDTs.

If you just call the UDFB and use the instance names of Pump1, Pump2 and Pump3, you will still create tags named Pump1.Run, Pump1.Trip, ...

When you call the UDFB and give it an instance name, that instance "inherits" all of the parameters of the UDFB.
