Virtual Machines In A Production Environment

VM:s are good, you get "clean" platform for every suppliers software, eg Siemens in on machine, Rockwell in one, TwinCat in one etc..

And about using vm:s in production enviroment, that is one thing what they are meant for, to get more clean installs to one machine. So different programs interfere with each other. And are less vulnerable for faults.
