Is this a 216 or 226 processor ? I would guess from the part number a 216, but i have been told that it may be a 226 ?

It's a 226 CPU - DC/DC/DC......They don't do a 216 cpu. All base unit part numbers start with 21 followed by the cpu number (ie 221, 222, 224 & 226)

Thanks, Thanks also for your other answer, i found the rtc in the end! Then read your post!

What makes the Part number a 216 ? And why in their (Siemens) Wisdom would a 226 have a 216 part number ?

The older hardware versions of the 200 line were CPU models like 210, 212, 214, 215 and 216. When they went to the next hardware generation which was the models 222, 224 and 226, they didn't bother to update the second group of numbers in their model number format. This confused me at first but I got the hang of it later.
