WinCC Flexible smartservice. Logon dialog.

Hi all.

I am trying smartservice for WinCC Flexible PC RT for the first time, and am doing some tests.

When I want to connect to the webserver from a remote PC, I get a webserver page with a link to the smartservice. When I click this link, a log-on dialog for UltraVNC pops up, and I have to specify username and password. I tried with the usernames and passwords configured in the HMI project, but no success.

What username and password is it then ? Where is it setup ?

I have checked the "Getting Started Options" manual, but it only mentions how to set up on a Panel, not a PC RT.

Did You look in Windows Logon Settings ? Maybe it need windows account ?

Thanks for the link. It must be the right place.

After a few tests, I still cannot get it to work.
It says "WinCC Internet settings (32-bit)", maybe it must be a 64-bit version. I tried to change some things, and it crashed.
And I think I managed to setup the username and password, but it still fails on log-in.

Would like to hear from someone who have it working, and preferably on 64-bit.

You are in the right place

I have been using it for a while but only on 32bit. Attached is the setup i have in my user manual.
