i have only RSLogix Micro on my laptop and i need to open a RSS file containing PID loops program. Anyone know a remedy?

 

If you don't need to make changes, One of us w/ Rs500 can get you a pdf version if you zip and upload the file.

If you do need to make changes, I don't know of any option other than to buy/borrow a copy.

Micrologix ???? or SLC ????

There is a RSLogix Micro Starter(for all Micrologix controllers) and a RSLogix Micro Starter Lite ( For the ML1000 and ML110 only).
Which one do you have?

Both versions will open a .RSS file with a PID instruction if you have the correct controller.

 

And, if you want one of us to change the controller type and save it and send it back so you can open it with your limited version of RSLogix 500....that way you can copy/paste logic or just edit it without having to re-enter a bunch of stuff from a pdf report.
