Hello Everyone,
I have a 1734 AENTR connected to a 1756-ENBT ethernet card. The AENTR has 10 safety I/O modules and then 2 discrete I/O modules. I am getting an error on the safety modules that flashes back and forth between different modules of Module Fault (Code 16#0301) Connection Request Error: Out of buffer memory.
I was told that the max number of connections is 20 per an AENTR. With the AENT counting as 1, safety cards counting as 2 each, and the discrete modules counting as 1 each.
Ive done a bit of reading and the AENTR should be able to support up to 63 modules. Which doesn't make sense with the 20 connection limit. I have everything set to rack optimization. I have read somethings on the max number of CIP connections as well, but don't quite know what all that means.
Does anyone have any help on this? Should I be able to get the AENTR to work with the 10 safety modules and 2 discrete modules?
Thanks in advance,
Dennis
