I am starting up a new RTU using a L306ER with a 5069 -serial to a Serial radio using DF1 Radio Modem Protocol. I only used it for reading to get the station set up and READS work fine. then I wanted to write... and no.
I was on the phone with Rockwell for 2 hours today and they couldn't make it work either.
I know there were a couple folks that tested this module when it got that firmware update that enabled DF1, but is anyone using it for real and had this work?
Equipment involved is a L81 processor, which is using an adjacent L61 processor as a serial port, then to the Radio pair and then to the RTU with the 5069-serial.
I have mapped the data table in the remote RTU and that mapping works for a read MSG but Writes result in a 16#001f extended _0204.
Anyone else seen this?
Oh and I use this same setup already with 3 ML1400's in RTUs and those work fine so the hardware is sound, the difference is the L306er and the serial module .
