I have a couple of CPUs which are my spare ones.
Do I have to disconnect the battery leads to keep the battery charged?

Thanks

If you want to save the batteries disconnect them.

On the shelve PLCS don't need battries. Think about removing them to prevent damage from leaks.
PLCS that need to have keep their memory should always be powered and not rely on batteries.
