Can anyone tell we where to find a simple program that demonstrates how to display a couple of messages and look at the function keys of Beijer E100 HMI & FX1N combination. I have EDesigner, GX Developer and all the hardware connected up in my living room. I am quite used to the old Medoc system but I can't quite get my head around this new stuff.

I'm only a simple soul,so it would help if you make things blindingly obvious

I find the help files in EDesigner + GX Developer about as helpfull as my first wife.

Any help/advice more than welcome

If you have E-Designer, you have demo projects for all the screens in a subfolder under the installation directory.

This is my first attempt at using an HMI. The one demo for the E100 that comes with eEdesigner talks mostly about the on board real time clock and very little else. None of the demos mention what you need to put in the PLC just the HMI end.

Saying that I have actually started to make a little sense of things, thanks to the comment by Goody, but it's a bit like pulling teeth.

On a brighter point I'm going on holiday for a week tomorrow and leaving the mysteries of FX's and HMI's up in the ether for a while.
