Good morning everyone,
First post so please be gentle. Powered on a new 1769-l24er-qb1b to load a program and run some tests. PLC had a flashing red OK light, which normally is a recoverable major fault, but there's no program so is it hardware fault? I've tried flipping it in and out of run mode and power cycling, no effect. When I attempt to hook up to it to try to load my program or at least get an error message my computer fails to install the driver. Tried all the tricks I could find to get my computer to get the driver info but to no avail. Rockwell's charging my company 1200 a year to look at FAQ's and a useless forum. Please advise.
