connect Keyboard to PLC

HI,

I am doing a little project where I transformed 10 inputs to 4 inputs binair with a multiplexer. Now I want to connect those 4 inputs to my PLC because I want to use it as an alarm, so you have 4 tries to type the wright code.

How would u dou it, can anyone please help.

Try to better define problem and post code you have so far.
What happens after fourth time? Burgler comes and tries his luck
with four (or more) wrong combinations and eventually gives up.
Then you come from work and you cannot enter?
