CP 340 via ASCII to MOXA NPort 5230

Hello,

I currently using a Siemens CPU 315-2 PN/DP (with Step7) with
I/O cards. All are working fine.

I now want to add a CP 340-RS232C to talk to a MOXA NPort 5230
via ASCII.

I can't seem to get the cp340 to communicate with the CPU (no SEND or RCVR light comes on). I followed the Tutorial example for PTp but I am not sure how to make my FB call the SEND or RCVR blocks. I am not sure how to go about doing this call.

Btw, the the blocks from Example are READ ONLY...
