DC Current Measurements

Any suggestions for DC current measurement devices. The CT transformers that are available, like the NK Technologies and the ones they sell on Automation direct are so slow 160ms. Any suggestions for faster response units that provide a 0-10v or 0-20ma output? Measuring in the 1-50Amp range

You could use a shunt and signal conditioner to turn the MV into high level signal.

I have used microswitch on multiple machines years ago. they have various ranges and you will need to calibrate them when you have them installed.

We used these:

in order to get a 4-20 signal. They worked well for us.
