I am new to this software that I am using for my upcoming senior project. I am trying to figure out how to use visual basic to detect a comm error from the field device and then disable factorytalk from writing or reading tags from the field device so FactoryTalk does not crash on me in my Recipes display.
Any help would be appreciated.
