How to connect iFIX to an SLC500 PLC?

Hi have iFIX installed on my machine. I have an IGS driver configuration file. How do I get iFIX to talk to my PLC? I also have RSLinx installed...

Use OPC. If your iFIX has an OPC Client already, then install this OPC Server for your SLC500 and then connect your iFIX to the OPC Server:

If your iFIX doesn't have an OPC client built in, then install this OPC server and the one above:

configure them both and then use OPC Data Manager to connect both OPC Servers together and get data moving between your HMI and PLC.

Hi there...

I had installed an ABR7 driver, but it came up with an error 'API not initialized'

So I have now switched to using an IGS driver...

If you have installed the IGS driver (And have the IGS driver option in your license key). what is your question ?
