How's the Beijer HMI software?

Which is great to know, but if it is so simple it makes it even more annoying that Beijer just decided to waste users disk space.

It's a fair point. I only found out by trail an error.

It definitely has its quirks, but ultimately it comes down to personal preference and what you're trying to accomplish.
All-in-all I like the iX Developer software.

I'm not too familiar with IX but used the E series for many years and found them great and reliable. I'm now retired but before I did I downloaded a trial and for me it seemed fine, perhaps I'm used to the way E-Designer works.
We had a number of the newer IX panels supplied on bought in machines and in three years had no problems with them.
