Micro Logix 1100 and 1400 High Speed Counters

Does the 1100 only have 1 high speed counter, but it can have multiple inputs? And so then the 1400 has 6 HSC and you have a choice of multiple inputs for each Counter?

Yes, the 1100 has one counter, and the actual inputs you can use with it are limited to onboard inputs 0 through 3.. The reason for allowing multiple inputs for one counter is to be able to handle certain count modes.
