I am writing a large 850 program right now. If you right click on a rung and select Add Label, then click in that label and give it a unique name, you can insert a Jump and at the top of the Jump click in it and it will display all of the labels for that routine.
And I am thinking you can use indirect addressing if you use the same method I found for Control Logix using a variable string of the tagname and a message instruction to itself: http://www.plctalk.net/qanda/showthread.php?t=105602
