I sure was. Okie probably got about 60 wpm and 2 gph (girls per hour).

Had typing lessons back in school.
A whole year and I still couldn't type without looking at the keyboard.
And this was on actual typewriters. (was in the 90's)

Now after years of playing games in the dark, posting online, etc etc etc, I can almost type complete sentences without looking at the keyboard.

Feel that typing goes faster if I can see where my fingers need to be.
