PF 755 Firmware Flashing Help

We had to replace a PF 755 drive in a system this morning and the firmware is about 6 majors higher than the other drives on the machine.

The boss wants me to flash the drive and HIM firmware to make them all match.

After I flash the new firmware to the drive to I have to download the drive parameters back to the drive or are they retianed through a firmware update?

Does the firmware update wipe out all the drive parameters?
 
I have never done a Drive Firmware Update but I would bet money that the parameters are wiped out after the flash.
