Hi fellas,
Hoping someone can help me get started with this. I'm a little out of my comfort zone trying to set up communication with a ProFace HMI to control multiple (~20) powerflex 525 VFD's via ethernet. I really need just basic functions (start/stop, set frequency, forward, backwards, etc.).
I found an example project on the ProFace site using Implicit messaging to control a single drive, but it seems to be using ProFace internal registry to communicate and I'm not sure how this translates to differentiating multiple drives.

It would seem following this example maybe I should be able to set each drive up as a different Device/PLC with individual IP address and different USR range?
Or can I when defining the variables set as bit addresses and use a specific class communication instead of the USR?
Thanks in advance.
