Does anyone have a website that explains the difference between rs 500 and 5000. Or examples of programing from each type for the same machine?

RSLogix500 is used to program SLC500 and Micrologix controllers.
RSLogix5000 is used to program Controllogix, Compactlogix anf Guardlogix controllers.
They will not program the same machine one or the other depending on the hardware you have.
